Could not stand to back this kickstarter project myself. Waiting for a nice Pebble watch with too many features already.

Update on the keyboard issue with Ice Cream Sandwich.
After a recommendation of a friend (thanks Onia!) I downloaded Swiftkey X Trial to give a try.
It works really well! it supports input of three languages at the same time, so exactly what I need: English, Catalan and Spanish.
Worth giving a try. I added the video from the Android Market (now Google Play) that provides an overview of the features. Swiftkey 3 is in beta right now, available if you register in their website.

I like the cynical but realistic approach of these comics!
After some weeks using my brand new Galaxy Nexus I must say that I am quite satisfied with the purchase.
Well, I moved from an Android 2.1 phone so Android 4.0 ICS is a hell of an improvement!!

The interface seemed to me easy to understand and adopt. I only missed the language configuration.
I have the impression that phones OS are made with a quite US-centric view. So for countries where several languages are used indistinctly there are quite some shortfalls to support it. For instance I am now writing from the phone with Spanish language configuration. So suggestions are useless and the phone slows down because there is not a single word recognized.
One may say I could switch to English but this has to be changed through the setup. In a couple of minutes I will be writing in Catalan (did not find support for Catalan by default) and 30 seconds late I will be exchanging a whatsapp with a friend in Spanish. So I need a quick way to switch language. This does not happen in US, right?
I have to play and investigate the phone more but this seems to be something not solved to me.
The interface is really nice. The support for widgets puts your phone with really instant content, i.e. the calendar or emails. Having only 5 screens and many widgets puts the phone to the point of needing more screens. Fortunately you can group icons in folders so organize your screens well.
Regarding support. You receive an email when syncronizing for the first time. But it is pure Q&A text. No videos, no images. Would prefer something better from the Android team. I guess the phone is quite focused to geek people and this is not that much of a hurdle, but well nicer graphics, pics and videos would be welcome.
To summarize, really happy and proud of this phone!! :)
